主讲人简介：

Prof. Chung-Hwan(Steve) Jeon received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Eng. from Pusan National Univ in 1985, 1987 and 1994, respectively. Since then he had been a postdoctoral fellow at Propulsion Engineering Research Center, Penn-State Univ. in 1995-1996. He joined the School of Mechanical Engineering in Pusan National Univ as faculty member in 1996. Chung’s primary research interest is in coal combustion and gasification with special interests in CFD simulation, mathematical modeling, kinetics and slag modeland related experiments. He is supervisor of Energy Conversion System Lab; head of Department of Thermal Power Combustion Engineering, PNU; director of Pusan Clean Coal Center(PCCC), PNU; a committee of National Energy Council (nominated by MKE); a committee of National Technical Estimation Council (nominated by MEST); a committee of Clean Thermal Power Planning in KETEP; technical advisory for Korea Power Company(WP, KOSPO, KOEN);POSCO Affiliated Professor.
