Introduction of Modern Gleason Bevel Gear Technology

主讲人 : 樊奇

Dr. Fan will first brief the profile of Gleason Corporation including its location, branch offices and plants, and product scope as well. Dr. Fan will also review historic scholars and scientists who have made significant impact and contributions in the field of gearing. Then, Dr. Fan will introduce modern Gleason bevel gear technology in general, which includes theoretical basis of bevel gear design, software programs, machines, and manufacturing processes. Dr. Fan welcomes questions from the audience after the presentation.

主讲人简介：

樊奇博士现任美国格里森公司（Gleason Corporation）资深齿轮理论家及中国区齿轮技术总监，美国机械工程师协会ASME 会士 (Fellow)。任美国机械工程师协会动力及齿轮传动专业委员会学术主席（Technical Chair），同时也是美国机械工程师协会《机械设计期刊》(Journal of Mechanical Design)的连任副主编，专门负责齿轮及传动方向论文的审阅。

樊奇博士是世界著名齿轮啮合原理鼻祖李特文( Faydor L. Litvin)教授的博士生，早期他曾在武汉理工大学任副教授从事机械原理和机械零件等相关课程的教学和科研工作十多年。樊奇博士长期从事齿轮啮合原理的研究，在齿轮接触分析，模拟，修形，数字化制造，以及新型齿形研究等方面具有突出的学术贡献， 发表了诸多SCI高引用率的文章并获美国专利。曾获美国航空航天局NASA颁发的科技成果奖及英国机械工程师协会颁发的托马斯科技成果奖。
