An overview on the recent research work at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) on urban geotechnical solutions pertinent to Singapore will be presented. Some thoughts for emerging research topics will also be discussed.The topics include new land reclamation methods, new soil improvement methods, new construction materials, 3D geodata model and other methods for geotechnical measuring and monitoring.
